The Beatles ' "past Masters series is an album and includes all their singles that were not released on their studio albums. The Beatles released only individual who were also on the Studio album, a few times; were not in the habit of doing it. That is why the series of masters of the past is a double album with a lot of great material on it. Past master 1 includes all materials since 1963 (Please Please Me) until 1965 (Guide). Past master 2 includes all materials since 1965 (Rubber Soul) until they disbanded in 1970 (Let It Be).
1 past master is really dated material, and is basically that the Beatles mop top period. Has everything to Love Me Do and From Me To You-I Feel Fine and they're down. All sound of remastered songs so much better. The song From Me To You sounds completely different, now that it is remastered. For me it was She Loves you and I Wanna Hold your hand that were two of the first songs that I heard from way back when Beatles. This was the Beatlemania to its height. The original, the guitar parts were almost and not as easy to distinguish as they are on the remastered and separated. All sounds were there the original versions, but is not so clear.
The only song I can recall that it was sung by another group and sounded better was that I ask for your name. Was the Mama and Papas with Mama Cass Elliot singing only bring a few years after the Beatles originally recorded.
Past master 2 is much better than an album compared to volume 1. Has everything to their period Rubber Soul-Let It Be. You start with the double-side single Day Tripper/we can Work It Out. These songs are the first songs that the Beatles did that I consider some of my favorites. Day Tripper has a really great guitar and sound and We Can Work It Out has one of my favorite chorus lines. The harmony that Lennon and McCartney have during the chorus is beautiful. The next single sided double-a is Paperback Writer/Clear. Paperback writer is a really great song and sounds very much like their music on their album adjacent, revolver. Rain is a completely revolutionary song which is, in my opinion. It doesn't seem to their other music up to that point. At the end of the song is played back, the choir and psychedelic sounds really.
Ringo I heard that he thought that this was his best work (rain). Ringo was a really elegant musician.
McCartney and Lennon are naturally write song monsters that not even from their era.
Volume 2 is also the anthem Hey Jude; one of the greatest songs of all time. This song was written for John Lennon's son Julian from Paul McCartney and John Lennon and mother Giuliano were always divorced. McCartney tried to cheer the Julian up with this song, although Lennon thought sometimes was directed towards him. Hey Jude is one of my favorite songs of all time and a song that is on top of the best lists of songs around the world. Throughout the universe, The Ballad of John and Yoko are also great songs on this album. This album also sounds very clearly remastered. All songs sound as though I have just been registered this year, not forty years ago.
